Luxuriously furnished safari tent

Starting in 2011 we will be letting out a luxuriously furnished safari tent (also referred to as Beachlodge) on our newly laid out campsite. ‘Glamping’ is very much in fashion these days. Camping in the luxury you are accustomed to at home!
This luxury rental tent is manufactured from indestructible canvass, with a steel frame, awning and veranda. The tent is fully furnished and you can start your holiday as soon as you arrive. If you wish, even the beds will be made up for your arrival.

Comfortable outdoor furniture is ready for you on the veranda. You can enjoy the salty aroma of the sea and the beautiful sunsets over the Zeeland countryside. Simply light the brazier and enjoy a perfect romantic evening!

We have even given thought to the colder evenings later in the season. Installed inside the tent is a wood pellet burner.
How’s that for camping in luxury!

The actual floor area is 45 m² plus a veranda at the front of the tent measuring 20 m².
The tent itself is rigged up on top of duckboards so you do not live on the ground.

Your luxurious accommodation has a complete kitchen unit with washbasin, a gas cooker with four rings, refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker and kettle. Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery: nothing is missing. You can immediately start to cook all those delicious things you’re used to at home!

The sanitary area even includes a bath, washbasin and toilet!

We feel that a good night’s sleep is important! Our beds are therefore fitted with good quality mattresses, duvets and pillows. The tent contains a double four-poster bed, bunk bends and a single bed. Extra facilities such as a child’s bed or cot and baby chair can always be organised for small children.

Your children will also enjoy themselves here. We have a small recreation area with go-carts, a slide, a see-saw and a trampoline. Because we offer a variety of different types of accommodation (campsite, apartments and B&B) other children are also in the neighbourhood to play with and make friends.

The safari tent is only intended for families with children or couples (4 to 5 persons). Larger parties (groups, etc.) may not use the tent.

The surroundings

Noordwelle is situated at the centre of Schouwen-Duiveland island. Close to the well-known seaside resorts Burgh-Haamstede (4 km) and Renesse aan Zee (2 km).
Surrounded by the North Sea, the Grevelingenmeer and the Oosterschelde, the island is a unique location for lovers of water sports. But people who like walking and cycling will love it here as well.

When you arrive will you please check in at reception. We will be more than pleased to show you around our grounds.

To make you feel at home as soon as you arrive you will find the following inside your safari tent:
A service set comprising cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom.
A wellness set for the bathroom.
A welcome gift plus coffee/thee and drinking chocolate.
